Care Recruitment’s connection to the insurance industry began back in 2001. From humble beginnings learning the craft within sales, service and claims teams, as well as experience in operations management and people leadership, Care’s exposure to our industry began well before we turned to recruitment. In that time, we witnessed the downfall of HIH, the introduction and flow on effects of the FSR Act, and the proliferation of insurance brokers and underwriting agencies and their impact on creating choice for customers through competition and accessibility. During this time, we have been able to build invaluable connections and networks with the broader insurance industry that have stood the test of time. We understand the purpose of the insurance sector; to create peace of mind, and the impact this has on its customers in their time of need.
Care Recruitment began its relationship with the superannuation industry in 2008. Since then, we are proud to say that we have first-hand work experience at three industry super funds, both in member services management and in talent acquisition. Since 2010, we have also recruited for most industry super funds including but not limited to Aware Super (including its previous brands), Telstra Super, Hostplus, HESTA, and Vision Super. We are proud of the deep connections we have established over the years. Since 2016, Care Recruitment has partnered with small to medium size wealth management businesses in support of their recruitment needs. These businesses have included diversified trustee and wealth services providers, asset management firms, accounting and financial planning agencies. It’s fair to say that since the findings of the financial services royal commission in 2019, the industry has made significant positive changes and gains with regards to protecting the consumer and broader financial markets from misconduct. By requiring financial services providers to comply with regulatory governance frameworks and operational risk management protocols, we are seeing consumers investing in their intergenerational wealth with more confidence.
